Till has been writing code since he was 14. He's built a lot of things over the years — some didn't go anywhere, but some that did: including EasyBib, an EdTech company that went all the way to exit. Through all of it, infrastructure was always the thing that got in the way. Bash scripts, Chef cookbooks and let's not forget YAML. Runway is his answer to fixing that once and for all — a platform built by people who've been on the other side of the deploy button too many times. Based in Berlin, fuelled by coffee and strong opinions.
Señor (Full Stack) Engineer
Richard has been writing code at all layers of the stack for as long as he can remember, and taking things apart for even longer. He and Till have been building things together for over 10 years. What drives him is building great apps without fighting infrastructure to get there, which is exactly why Runway exists. When he's not building the platform, he's behind a camera or keeping a 40-year-old Benz and a collection of motorcycles on the road. Proof that if you can maintain old German engineering, you can maintain anything. Based in Berlin.

Dennis has been running infrastructure and hosting services for over 20 years. Through Planetary Networks, he provides everything underneath Runway, from web hosting to servers, racks and access services, all operated out of two data centers in Berlin connected by a private fibre ring. He's a true Berliner, born and raised, and brings the kind of deep infrastructure experience that means things just work. When he's not keeping the lights on, he's probably in the garden. Turns out running servers and growing tomatoes aren't that different: keep the environment right and things take care of themselves. Also on a never-ending quest for Berlin's best currywurst.
