Use runway app route off to disable public routing to your app. This disables the app’s domain, preventing all external traffic from reaching your app.

This feature is useful for:

• private apps accessed only by other Runway apps (e.g., internal backend APIs)
• apps accessed exclusively via Tailscale
• emergency situations requiring immediate traffic blocking due to issues or attacks

Changes take effect immediately without requiring manual deployment.

Use runway app route on to re-enable routing.
